Who are we?
Romal is a technical wholesaler located in Utrecht, the Netherlands. We are a well-organized and healthy family business that has been operating since 1932. The third generation has been at the helm since 2003 and together with its employees, a mix of very experienced people and new enthusiastic recruits, Romal has expanded into a thriving and dynamic company.
Our products
We have traditionally supplied copper wire, insulation materials and accessories to the winding industry. Romal is still one of the few parties in the Netherlands that keeps a wide range of these materials well in stock. We represent well-known parties in this market such as Synflex, AEV, Essex, 3M, Schwering & Hasse and many other manufacturers.
In addition, we are the address for signal cables, connectors and cable management materials. Not only for individual components but also for all kinds of custom fiber optic, coaxial and data cables.
We serve, among others, the industrial, audio & video, marine and data & connectivity markets.

Audio, Video & Broadcast
In the Romal webshop you will find an extensive range of audio, data and video cables for various applications. Our customers use our product for, among other things, the installation of board rooms, narrowcasting in retail, recording studios, cable infrastructure in football stadiums, theaters and live events like festicals.
Industry
We serve the industrial market by offering cable, wire, sleeving and cable management items. We represent multiple A-brands such as Belden, Lapp, Alpha Wire, 3M, Times Microwave and PB Components. A complete package for the industrial market.
Data & connectivity solutions
Belden is our brand for our data cables. By supplementing this with Telegärtner Field Assembly Connectors, standard RJ45 connectors, Platinum Tools' EZ-RJ45 connectors, Neutrik's Ethercon, Patch cabinets and standard patch cables, we can offer a complete data package!
Custom cables
Al meer dan 15 jaar maken wij coax-, data-, audio- en glasvezelassemblies in ons eigen kabelatelier. Wij maken verschillende kabels op maat die worden gebruikt in de AV & Broadcast, de industriële, Marine & offshore en militaire markt. Lees meer over de mogelijkheden.

Winding materials
We have a large stock and supply of winding materials. In our assortment you will find solderable and heat resistant winding wire in various thicknesses and formats. In addition to winding wire, you can also find magnebond, tinned copper wire and stranden hook-up wire and accessoires.
